Following the suspension of the recruitment exercise by the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare on 13th February, 2024 due to protests and disruption by certain elements within the Hospital premises, the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare has consequently directed that the Management of OAUTHC should conclude the recruitment process for the implementation of the 2022 approved waiver granted to the Institution by the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
The officials of the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare who were on ground during the last botched recruitment exercise witnessed the protests, attacks and unrest that marred the recruitment exercise that was slated to hold on 11th & 12th February, 2024 and same was reported appropriately to the top echelon of the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, Abuja.
The Management of OAUTHC have been directed by the Federal Ministry to maintain civility, law and orderliness within the ambit of law without resorting to the use of lethal force in the process of implementing the 2022 June approved waiver.
All candidates whose cadres are captured on the June 2022 approved waiver are therefore implored to prepare ahead for the written examination and await further directives from the Management on the date and venue of the examination.
