The Pharmacy Department of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC), Ile-Ife, hosted a grand celebration on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, to honour two of its esteemed members of staff—Deputy Director of Pharmacy Services, Pharm. Martins Olanipekun Oyewole, and Principal Health Attendant, Mr. Olusegun Obayemi on their retirement.
In his opening remarks, Deputy Director Pharmacy, Pharm. Gabriel Olabiyi congratulated the retirees for their outstanding and selfless service throughout their careers. He wished them a peaceful and fulfilling retirement.
The Chief Medical Director, Professor John Okeniyi, also lauded the celebrants for completing their professional journeys successfully. He described them as diligent individuals of strong character and commendable reputation. The CMD encouraged other members of staff to emulate their legacy of dedication and integrity.
Director of Pharmacy, Pharm. Victor Adefiwitan, described Mr. Obayemi as a versatile, principled, and highly committed worker whose contributions have left a lasting impact.
In a goodwill message, Chairman of the Senior Staff Association OAUTHC, Mr. Lateef Adeyeni, extolled Pharm. Oyewole’s steadfast commitment to service and his dedication to the welfare of humanity.
