In a spirit of unity and collaboration, SS John & Paul Catholic Church, Oranfe, Ile-Ife, paid a courtesy visit to the Management of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC), Ile-Ife, on Wednesday, 16th July 2025.

Leading the delegation, the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Felix Olaniyan, expressed his appreciation to the hospital’s management for the warm reception, particularly on a day marked by the official flag-off of the hospital’s 50th anniversary celebrations. He offered prayers for continued peace and unity within the OAUTHC community and for divine wisdom for the Chief Medical Director (CMD), Prof. John Okeniyi, as he steers the affairs of the institution.

In his response, Prof. Okeniyi warmly welcomed the church delegation and commended them for their thoughtful gesture and display of goodwill. He acknowledged the significance of their visit, which coincided with the launch of the hospital’s golden jubilee celebrations. He also highlighted the hospital’s ongoing needs and expressed gratitude for any form of support the church might offer, emphasizing that such acts of kindness are both timely and deeply appreciated.
