Federation of Muslim Women’s Associations in Nigeria Donates to Female Medical Wards in OAUTHC

In the spirit of charity and giving during the holy month of Ramadan, the Federation of Muslim Women’s Associations in Nigeria (FOMWAN), Ife Central Local Government Chapter, made a generous donation to the Female Medical Wards at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC) on Friday, March 21, 2025.

The association donated a dozen plastic chairs and toiletries to support the hospital’s efforts in providing care to patients. Mrs. Kehinde Omoleke, an executive member of FOMWAN, explained that the donation was a gesture of gratitude towards the hospital management for their continuous dedication and care.

Drawing attention to the association’s ongoing support for orphanages and motherless babies’ homes in Osogbo, Mrs. Omoleke emphasized that FOMWAN’s charitable efforts always focus on the well-being of children and the aged.

The Chief Medical Director of OAUTHC, Prof. John Okeniyi, warmly thanked the association for their kind gesture and expressed his appreciation for the visit. He highlighted the importance of fostering interfaith harmony and reaffirmed his commitment to promoting peace across religious communities.
