The Chief Medical Director of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife, Prof. John A. O. Okeniyi, has been elected a Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Medicine. In a release signed by Prof. Oluwole Atoyebi, Secretary, Nigerian Academy of Medicine, Okeniyi, along with 19 others were elected on 17th June 2025.
The Nigerian Academy of Medicine serves as an independent and an innovative national resource of excellence and expertise in medical sciences and healthcare with an objective to promote the knowledge of medical sciences in Nigeria and its practical application to problems of national welfare.
The induction ceremony takes place on Tuesday, 9th September, 2025 at the Reiz Continental Hotel, Abuja.
