Accreditation Board visits SHIM, OAUTHC

An accreditation team from Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria visited the School of Health Information Management (SHIM), Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital’s Complex, from 23rd to 26th October, 2023.

The team was led by Dr. Femi Macaulay, and the Ag. Head of the School, Mr Akingbola Omokanye, took them around the school’s facilities to critically check where she lags behind academically and other areas, for accreditation and advancement. They commended the effort of the Management on SHIM so far, and hope for improvement on the next visit.

The Chief Medical Director, Prof. John Okeniyi, who received the accreditation team, appreciated their efforts and promised to make amends where necessary. Other members of the accreditation team were Mrs Felicia Okunniyi, Mrs. Lami Abaji and Mr. Ibrahim Musa.
