The Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC), Ile-Ife, recently celebrated the retirement of Mr. Shadrach Adebambo, the immediate past Head of the Establishments Department, in a grand and memorable ceremony. The event, held on the institution’s premises, was a tribute to his remarkable 33-year career, marked by dedication, integrity, and exceptional leadership.

The ceremony brought together dignitaries, management staff, and colleagues, all gathered to honour Mr Adebambo’s significant contributions to the institution. In his opening remarks, Mr. Rotimi Omotoye, the current Head of Human Resources, described retirement as a milestone achievable only through grace.

He commended Mr. Adebambo for his commitment to fostering growth, excellence, and teamwork within OAUTHC, noting that his legacy would continue to inspire others.

Chief Medical Director, Professor John Okeniyi, paid glowing tributes to Mr. Adebambo, describing him as a personification of humility, faith, and selflessness. “He embodies rare and admirable virtues,” Professor Okeniyi remarked, “making him a beacon of integrity and respect.”
