The Management of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC), Ile-Ife, under the leadership of the Chief Medical Director, Professor John Okeniyi, has commended outstanding members of staff who have played key roles in the recent improvement and effective coordination of the Government Integrated Financial and Management Information System (GIFMIS) at OAUTHC.
The commendation ceremony, held on April 23, 2025, recognized the dedication and commitment of these role players who, over recent years, have contributed significantly to the smooth functioning of the system, particularly in payment-related activities within the hospital.
In his address, the CMD Prof. John Okeniyi expressed his sincere appreciation to all members of staff, especially the recipients of the commendation letters. He encouraged continuous contributions from all units of the hospital to further enhance financial operations and institutional development.

Also speaking at the event, the Director of Administration, Dr. Ayodeji Bobade, extended his gratitude to staff members whose efforts have contributed to the growth and effectiveness of GIFMIS. The Director of Finance and Accounts, Mrs. Foluke Fola-Aloa, acknowledged the unwavering support of the CMD and praised his consistent efforts to recognize and reward outstanding performance.

The Secretary, OAUTHC GIFMIS, Mr. Mike Aluko, was specially appreciated for his exceptional role in the proper coordination and accountability of the system.
