The College of Nursing Sciences Organizes Orientation Programme for Newly Employed Staff

The College of Nursing Sciences Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex organized an orientation programme for its newly employed staff on the 15th of March 2023 at the College Hall.

The Head of the Department of Nursing Education, Dr (Mrs.) Bosede Awoseemo in her welcome address congratulated the newly employed staff. She gave a brief history of the Nursing College, noting that the essence of this employment is to have enough manpower to carry out the college’s duties efficiently. She also gave a talk on the Importance of Team Building and Effective Communication in Nursing Education.

 The Principal of the School of Nursing Wesley Guild Hospital Ilesa, Mrs. Grace Fatoye charged the new staff on Comportment and Personal Conduct and stressed the need to be professional in how they interact with their colleagues and students.

 Other Principal Officers present at the event are the Vice Principal School of Nursing I H U, Mr. Abimbola Adeyera who represented the Principal School of Nursing, the Principal of the School of Midwifery Wesley Guild Hospital, Mrs. Yemisi Oyeniran, and the Programme Coordinator School of Perioperative Nursing I.H.U, Mr. Joshua Ogunwusi. They charged the newly employed staff to put in their best to achieve success.
