The Breathe Easy Foundation has donated medical consumables to the hospital to support patients living with asthma and other respiratory diseases.

The founders, Mr. Claudius and Mrs. Dorcas Akeju visited the institution on 31st January 2023, to donate medical consumables including Ventolin inhalers, compressor nebulizers, vitalograph, and peak flow meters for use by adults and children patients living with asthma and other respiratory diseases.

The chairperson of the foundation, Mrs. Dorcas Akeju, said that the organization was set up in 2014 to save lives by creating awareness about asthma; to prevent it and donate medical consumables to patients.

The organization’s representative in Nigeria, Mrs. Aderonke Akinwumi, explained that the organization has a club in Ibadan where sensitization programmes are carried out periodically to create awareness of asthma.

The Ag. Chief Medical Director, Dr. Afolabi Owojuyigbe, expressed his profound gratitude to the foundation for supporting the institution to provide quality healthcare for her patients. He further assured them that the items donated would be used for the purpose they were meant for.
