The children’s ward of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex witnessed a generous donation from The Apostolic Church, Ataoja, Osogbo, on 14th February 2023.
The Church donated specifically to Sofiat Ayanleye in Children Ward II, Phase IV, and Testimony Ajewole in Neuro Ward, Phase IV.
The clergy-in-charge of the church, Pastor Festus Adesina, who led other church pastors to the institution, affirmed that the purpose of the gift was to extend their hands of love to the children in the hospital who found it difficult to settle their hospital bills.
He further emphasized that the church members contributed the cash through the help of Pastor Isaac Awotanmi, who got the vision and motivated the church to give willingly to help the needy, especially at this crucial time.
Mrs. Tayo Adebowale, the Director of Medical Social Services of the hospital, on behalf of the Management and staff of the hospital, expressed her profound gratitude to the donor for their generosity. She also encouraged them to do more such philanthropic acts.
