ICAN Ife District Leadership Visits OAUTHC Management

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Ife District Society, recently paid a courtesy visit to the Management of the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, to strengthen existing relationships and formally notify the Management of its forthcoming first anniversary celebration aimed at promoting unity and professional development.

Speaking during the visit, the incoming Chairman-elect, Mrs. Abosede Akamo, expressed appreciation to the hospital management for granting the delegation an audience. She also used the opportunity to invite the Management to the District Society’s first anniversary and investiture ceremony scheduled to hold within the hospital premises in June 2026.

In his response, the Chief Medical Director, Prof. John Okeniyi, commended the ICAN Ife District Society for its efforts and initiative in fostering unity among professional accountants within the hospital community. The CMD and management pledged continued support to ensure the district’s advancement and sustainability.

Delivering the vote of thanks, the Technical Secretary, Mr. Peter Adewumi, appreciated the Chief Medical Director and the hospital management for their warm reception and expressed optimism for stronger collaboration between both institutions in the future.
